Humanity is a relatively young race, only coming into prominence within the last 2000 years. They are a staggeringly diverse and adaptable race, capable of thriving in nearly any environment and under almost any condition. Despite having a short lifespan compared to elves and dwarves, humans can become can attain a degree of skill in their chosen fields that more longevitive races find remarkable (and somewhat frightening). They are already the most populous race in the Realm and many worry that the increasing tide of humanity will eventually push all the other races off the map.
Humanity is the most varied of Races, which a staggering variety of cultures and ethnicities. The following are the most common and prolific human groups within a given region of the known world.
Human characters gain a + 2 racial bonus to one ability score of their choice at creation to represent their varied nature.
Medium Size Humanoid (Human)
Speed: Humans have a base speed of 30 feet.
Bonus Feat: Humans select one extra feat at 1st level.
Skilled: Humans gain an additional skill rank at first level and one additional rank whenever they gain a level.
Weapon Familiarity: Humans are proficient with one or more weapons based on their place of origin (described by culture). Alternatively, they may select proficiency in any one exotic weapon or any two martial weapons. Scarred Lands

Languages: Humans begin play speaking the language of their native culture and one other Common language from their native Region. Humans with high Intelligence scores can choose any languages known by their culture or any other common language native to their region.
