Speed: Tanuo base land speed is 30ft. Tanuo base burrowing speed is 10ft.
Low-Light Vision: Tanuo can see twice as far as humans in conditions of dim light.
Badger Ferocity Ex): Once per day, when a Tanuo is reduced to fewer than 0 hit points but is not killed, he can fight on for 1 more round as if disabled. At the end of his next turn, unless brought to above 0 hit points, he immediately falls unconscious and begins to die.
Bite (Ex): A Tanuo has a bite attack that deals 1d3 points of damage. The bite is a primary attack, or a secondary attack if wielding manufactured weapons.
Fearless (Ex) – Tanuo gain a +2 racial bonus on all saving throws against fear effects.
Frenzy (Ex): Once per day, whenever a Tanuo takes damage, it flies into a frenzy for 1 minute, gaining a +2 racial bonus to Constitution and Strength, but a –2 penalty to AC.
Aging Effects: Adult 15 Middle Age 30 Old 50 Venerable 65 Maximum 65+3d12
Languages: Tanuo begin play speaking their native language (Tanugo) and one other Common language from their native Region. Tanuo with high intelligence scores can choose from the following; Kami, Oni, Sylvan or other common language from their native Region.

Alternative Racial Traits
•Badger Grip: Tanuo can use their impressive strength to make use of larger weapons. The attack roll penalty for using weapons too large for their size is reduced by 1 (to a minimum of 0). This replaces Fearless
•Claws: Some Badgerfolk exhibit hardened claws, and receive two claw attacks that deal 1d2 damage. These are primary natural attacks. This trait also increases the Tanuo’s burrow speed by 5ft. This replaces Bite
•Gluttony: The Badgerfolk are well known for their prodigious appetites. Tanuo with this ability gain a +2 racial bonus to initiative and recover an additional 3 hit points each night of rest. However, the Tanuo must eat twice the normal amount of food to remain healthy. This replaces Badger Ferocity and Fearless.
•Healthy: The Badgerfolk demonstrates remarkable resilience against illnesses and afflictions. The Tanuo gain a +4 bonus on Fortitude saves against disease and poison, including magical diseases. This replaces Frenzy
•Tenacious: The Tanuo gain a +1 racial bonus on all saving throws. This replaces Badger Ferocity
