Tiefling traits vary from individual to individual, but most sport an arrangement black or ivory horns protruding from their foreheads, sharp teeth, bestial legs, and long tails. Most Tieflings have dark skin, with hues of deep red or black at the extremities and fading to shades of reddish brown on the face and torso, but patterns and markings in exotic hues of black, white, grey, blue or green are not entirely uncommon.Their hair is often red, black, brown or grey, with steaks of several colors. Their eyes are commonly green, yellow, red or orange and are slightly luminescent.
The fiendish taint they are afflicted with gives even the most decent of them a short temper, dark moods and a pronounced cruel streak.

The proximity of the dreaded Dreaming Demon taints the people of Ciernasten. Due to this influence, fully one fifth of those born within the nation are born Tiefling. The influence of infernalism within the culture grants Tieflings freedom from prejudice they might receive in other lands, and many rise to positions as prominence. The Ciernasten value ruthlessness and power – things Tieflings often have in abundance.
The Vagran Tieflings are descendants of the inhabitants of the powerful human city-state of Vagara. Cursed generations ago by the misdeeds of their fore bearers, they Vagran carry the sinister looks, volatile emotions, and dark reputations of their breed. Despite this, majority of Vagran reject the darkness forced upon them, and live by principles of courage, freedom and honesty. The Vagran are known by their exuberance when pleased as they are for their fury when angered. Most embrace a “live for the moment” philosophy, rarely back down from a challenge or a fight, and consider daring and bravery the highest virtues. Others have turned their backs upon virtue, and fully embrace their fiendish heritage.
